TAMARA Ecclestone made her three-year-old daughter Sophia wear a crash helmet on a slide – despite previously letting her ride a pony without one.
The Formula One heiress took to her Instagram Stories today to share a cute snap of her little girl going down the slide with a bright pink crash helmet on her head.
The daring tot slid head first down the slide with her arms out in front of her, and Tamara, 33, drew a pink love heart around the snap.
The star has clearly learned her lesson from two years ago, when she was criticised for letting her little girl – then two – ride a pony without any form of head protection.
The family were on holiday in California at the time and Tamara took Sophia for a ride at the Beverly Hills Farmer’s Market.
Tamara captioned the snap at the time: “Go Hershey go!”
However, while some of her followers commented on Sophia’s cute little outfit, others called Tamara out on how she wasn’t wearing a helmet.
One user wrote: “Why would you let your daughter on a pony without a hat and strapped in?!! Please safety first, ponies have minds of there own they are unpredictable animals!”
Another said: “Please put a hat on her next time Tamara, simply not worth the risk despite the fact pony is small and pace slow.”
A fellow horse-lover added: “Surely she should wearing a riding hat? I’ve ridden for over 20 years and wouldn’t consider risking it no matter how short the ride.”

However Tamara appears to have learned from the experience, and earlier this week she shared another snap on Instagram of Sophia riding a horse – complete with helmet.
She captioned it: “Lovely afternoon.”
Sophia was clearly having a whale of a time, with a big beaming smile on her little face as she was led along by a trainer.
